As Katapult’s managing director, Marcus oversees our recruiting team, making sure the day-to-day operations run without a hitch. He also drives our company relationship-building strategy by connecting with top companies throughout the United States across a wide variety of industries to simplify their hiring needs. 

Marcus prides himself on helping both hiring companies and candidates by bridging the communications gap in understanding what opportunities actually represent and who is best to fill them. He enjoys helping companies create a relatable message to attract the candidates they are looking to hire.

Through his years of working with executives and hiring managers, he has learned companies gain more through identifying the soft skills that best match their company’s culture rather than focusing on technical backgrounds or specific experience and Marcus is highly skilled at helping companies identify what those skills might be. 

FUN FACT: Marcus grew up on a small farm in northern Minnesota where he had all kinds of animals including goats, donkeys, cattle, cats, and dogs.
